summertime sparklers!

Just a quick little post with some pictures I took last night while we played with sparklers! (Don't tell the City of Richardson...) My sweet boss gave them to me after taking down some summer/July 4th stuff in our store, and with 3 littles at home who am I to turn down free fireworks!?

We leave for our family vacation in Colorado tomorrow, and in the midst of getting everything together I downloaded pictures off my fancy camera to have a clean slate -- and holy mackerel, there are Easter pictures on there! Can you tell it's been one of those years? Yeah. I'll get to those soon enough! ;)

And now a little video that only I will watch 1000x (isn't that always the case?). But if you're interested, Emmy starts singing "We Are Family" after she and R3 light a sparkler with a sparkler. ;P

nancy and nery's! (or, how I finally learned to stop worrying and take good selfies)

On Saturday we all went to Nancy and Nery's house to have a little get-together with some of our favorite people. Aaron was back in town, near his birthday no less, which was reason enough for us! These parties keep happening more and more frequently at N&N's, and I couldn't be happier about it. ;)

hey, blog! long time no see!

So! Hi! It's been a hot minute. :) But that's what you get when I'm in night school for my real estate license, Meg is graduating early, R3 breaking his leg, moving into a house, getting the littles for 6+ weeks, planning a wedding... you know, the usual! Posting has taken a backseat to all the craziness in the past 6 months, but here we are, alive and well!

I think the best part of this little project of mine is how much my sweet family talked about it in it's absence. "Take a picture for the blog!" "Ky's going to have a lot of blogging to do!" "Can you blog so I can show Mema XYZ?" I always feel so satisfied when I'm posting regularly, but we all know how it goes. :) So, here's a craaazy amount of iPhone photos we've taken since... the last time I blogged? Something like that. :) Kitten birthdays and wedding pictures are soon to follow!
