Sunday, November 19, 2017

Baby Eliam took his sweet time getting here (texts with Dana below, haha!) and he is the cutest little nugget.

Now onto the family waiting... and waiting and waiting! 😂

Then, when he finally arrived, the family group text started!

farewell, tonya & stephen...

Our last hang-out in Texas before Tonya and Stephen moved to New Mexico. :)

 Sadie the hairstylist ;)

And then, there was this... thanks, Dana! (and Snapchat, haha)

harlem globetrotters

Sunday, February 26, 2017

It's been mom's dream for a while to take us all to the Harlem Globetrotters, and it finally happened in January! We rode the DART down there and then had a giant pizza part at our house afterwards. It was another great get-together before Tonya and Stephen moved away. :) (Not pictured, R3 telling everyone about his first kiss the night before, haha - "Did Ky tell you?! Did Dad tell you?! Well...")

(and now the switch to iPhone, haha)

9 out of 10 looking forward ain't bad (R3 was staring at the jumbotron... so close!) ;)

Playing Apples to Apples back at home!

a dinner at toulouse

Sunday, February 5, 2017

In the spirit of a "farewell tour to Tonya and Stephen" (who are moving to New Mexico!), we wanted to make sure we took them to our. favorite. restaurant. in. Dallas. before they left. And we went ALL OUT. All out Toulouse dinner with TK & S! It was THE BEST. :)

Richard and his beloved pear martini!

It was also rainy when we left, so this situation happened while we were waiting for our valet ;P

a crappy dinner party and other fun stuff ;)

Wednesday, November 23, 2016

A real blessing was seeing this article called "5 Rules for Hosting a Crappy Dinner Party (and Seeing Your Friends More Often)" - what a revelation! Richard get so anxious cleaning the house, and picking out food for people can be so intimidating, but one weekend we just decided to throw it out there to our friends... and it was a blast! Debbie, Aaron, Bob and Kim took the bait and a new tradition was born. We served left-over lasagna and half-open bottles of wine. The dress-code was casual and fun (sweats!) and we laughed ALOT. Thanks for the tip, internet!

Other fun, rando things from this month include...
This hilarious text via Hilary. STILL AMAZING.

My handsome husband at my work's Customer Appreciation Party (and my RTR dress that was so dope!).

A night with Tonya and Stephen and making lobster mac & cheese for dinner! It was SO GOOD.

And the boys falling asleep watching super hero movies. :)

A funny group text that started with Mumsie saying, "What can I bring to Thanksgiving?"
