I really like "The Greatest Showman" (R does, too!) and I'm not going to apologize for it. 😆 (Videos taken while Meg, R and I were watching the movie at the end of Thanksgiving day 🙃)

Thanksgiving!

It was a very chill Thanksgiving this year, as the littles were at their mom's and Mumsie was on her way to a cruise! Bob made a surprise visit, tho! We served prime rib instead of turkey, and R made me ginger/lime/avocado tunaaaa (in addition to breakfast biscuits!). The Cowboys even won! It was so nice to just hang out with our closest peeps, catch-up and be silly. Outside of Ruby piercing Ryan's hand (they're both strong and stubborn!), it was pretty perfect. 😎

thanksgiving "break" ✌️

Richard and I (and Ruby!) had a really lovely Thanksgiving "break" while the kids were at their mom's this year for Thanksgiving. It was like a chill date night every day! We watched lots of movies, got delicious take out and just took. it. easy. It's always strange when we don't have a house full of kids... and Ruby was really sad having to sleep by herself!

Amazingly enough, I didn't take a billion photos during this past week, but below are just some fun we had before we went to see "Widows" at Alamo Drafthouse on a SUNDAY NIGHT (woah now!). We were just in a love-fest (partially thanks to both the Cowboys and Stars winning that day, haha), and I always want to remember it. 😊

meggie got her wisdom teeth out... and other things!

Juju took Meghan to get her wisdom teeth out, and we had a giant slumber party that evening (the kids went to Terra's for Thanksgiving break that day). It was so much fun! We ate ice cream, watched Dirty Dancing, played with the bunny filter and stayed up late... it was a blast. :)

Baby Eliam's birthday was on 11/14... precious angel!

richard's 50th birthday presents :)

This deserves it's own post :) Sadie and I gave him his presents the day before his birthday (since I had a company event on the night of his birthday), and Emily + R3 gave him his presents on the night of his birthday (which is why there's video, because I asked that they record it and text it to me!).

And Mumsie got him some beloved Calphalon pots/pans! He was OVER THE MOON.

richard's birthday staycation!

This year, R and I took a 4 day week for his birthday! Here's some snippets...

On Thursday night, I had a our annual company party, so I was receiving lots of texts from R while I was out, haha.

Came home to the welcoming committee!

Friday was overtaken with us getting foundation work done (EXCITING) and me being hungover (...!), so we took it easy, got Ruby to the doggie spa and ordered takeout for dinner after sending the littles off to Terra's.

Saturday we went to see Bohemian Rhapsody! I was inadvertently wearing Freddie Mercury cosplay that day, haha.

After the movie, we went to III Forks and sat at the bar (this is me trying to get a handle of my new iPhone's portrait setting, haha).

The band was so cute (see video) and there were couples dancing around most of the night. When the bandleader asked R what his name was, he replied "Ricardo" so we got a rendition of "Happy Birthday" to Ricardo, haha.

They gave us complimentary cake annnd finally tried THE JUICE. Amazing!

On Sunday we drove out to go high-speed go-carting! I went one round with Mr. Man in a two-seater and it was SO FUN.

Monday I still had to get the kids to school, so Ruby came with me!

 Then we went to First Watch to have breakfast (we never get up and out for breakfast!)

Then in the afternoon, R had to take Emily and R3 to their orthodontist appointments (note: Emily got her HEADGEAR) and he had a fun time entertaining himself and sending us these photos in the family group chat. ;)

Meggie came over to get a "professional photo" for her work, which meant I used the portrait mode, haha. She looks beautiful!!

... and a good time was had by all! :)
